"Mouse" (named by Aron), is a 4 week old Dwarf Hamster, and the newest edition to our family. She is teeny-tiny and so sweet! Aron, my little animal-lover, is thrilled to say the least! He baby talks to her and says, "Don't be scared, Mouse, Aron's here!" He is quite concerned about whether she is hungry, tired, scared or wanting to play. Such a good little pet-owner!

So, has that little guy gotten loose yet? Have you found him under your pillow, or in your shoe? We had a guinea pig when Dad was in vet school, her name was Mildred (the previous one's name was Virgil, who in the world came up with these names?), I swaddled her on a summer day and took her for a bumpy ride in my no-shock baby carriage. It's a wonder she survived that. Memories.
